How much alcohol do you need?
There are no absolute rules, however below is a general guide that you can use. Adapt these values to the preferences of your guests.
An example would be if you have 12 guests you will only need one bottle of spirits by volume, however your guests may have varying tastes in spirits. You may need to purchase 3 different types of spirit to meet your needs. This will leave left overs. Darn, guess you'll have to have another party to use it up.
The table is based on 4 drinks/person over 3 hours.
- Beer is based on 1 = 1 case (12 cans/bottles).
- Wine is based on 1 = 1 750ml bottle (6-4oz glasses)
- Spirits is based on 1 = 1 750ml bottle (24 drinks)
